muddy paws

We developed muddy paws out of a need for a healthier bath soap for our dogs (well, mostly for Gita). Muddy paws contains Neem oil as well as a blend of essential oils which are all widely known to be helpful in the battle against fleas and ticks, and oatmeal for help in keeping your dog’s skin soft.  And it smells good, too. It's crazy lathery and the bar is extraordinarily hard, so it lasts a long long time. Our 6 oz. bar is an unusually generous size for hand-crafted soap. This makes muddy paws an economical, healthy choice. (It's completely biodegradable so it's environmentally friendly for those shoreline scrubs.) We hope you enjoy our muddy paws!

And yes, you can use it on your muddy toes too! If you have kittycats, however, do not use muddy paws on them. Cats are sensitive to many ingredients and tree tea can be toxic to your beloved kittypaws.

Ingredients: calendula-infused organic olive oil; vegetable tallow; organic coconut oil; organic oatmeal; sodium hydroxide; Neem oil; 100% pure essential oils of lavender, tea tree, peppermint, rosemary, citronella, and lemongrass.

dirty do

Just like muddy pawsdirty do is super emollient, quick to lather, rinses off easily, and is biodegradable.  There are no essential oils in dirty do, so if you or your pup are sensitive to smells, this is the choice for you.  If your babydog has dry itchy skin, this is also a good choice as the calendula is delightfully emollient without weighing down your dog's fur or "greasing it up" like so many moisture-rich dog soaps and shampoos do. (Yes, dirty do is bare comfrey and calendula in a dog suit.)

Ingredients: organic calendula-infused organic olive oil, vegetable tallow, organic coconut oil, organic comfrey root decocted in distilled water, sodium hydroxide, organic calendula petals, organic comfrey leaves.
